Just over 11 years ago, Sam Keene came to visit and brought us the dirtiest, stinkiest and fartiest dog ever known. Sam found him wandering the freeway and lured him into his car with a meatball sub. He had been living in the woods for weeks. But the first time he met me, he jumped up and pawed my leg. He stole my heart. I named him Wiki, after my favorite baseball player. His full name was Wiki "Samuel L Keene the dog" Kerchner.
Wiki loved going for walks around campus to find discarded chicken wings. And he loved going to the quarry with me even though I threw him in the water. He loved to eat anything and everything. And he loved to curl up into a donut and sleep snuggled next to my butt.
Today we had to put Wiki down. He was a mighty fine dog, and I'm going to miss him.
A big day of firsts! Maggie rolled over! (Video to come)
And Charlie said his ABC's all by himself. Sorry for the bad video quality, but of course he needs to run around like crazy when he's singing.
We had Kenny, Samantha, Mabel, and Kristen over for thanksgiving. Pete smoked a turkey, and the ladies made sides. Kristen taught Pete how to carve a turkey! We all had a wonderful, relaxing day.
Kenny had so much fun with Maggie!
My kids are lucky to have two super fun uncles on my side. Charlie and uncle Dean love to play, and uncle Kyle bring Charlie super fun presents! Look hoe cute they are with baby Maggie!
These two were fast friends! In California, Grandmother came over everyday to hold little Miss. Maggie. So very sweet!
Look at this beautiful 4 month old! She's still super happy all the time, and still sleeping like a champ! She weighs 14 lbs, 6 oz (50 percentile) and is 25 inches tall (75 percentile). She got her shots today while her big brother held her hand. It was adorable!
Funderland is a cool little amusement park for kids. They have lots of fun rides. Charlie went on these airplanes 5 times!
Beautiful ladies in Los Angeles! Look how much these two love each other!
Happy baby!
