We went to Gray's birthday party this weekend. He has a super cool play tractor! Avett gave all of the smaller kids rides. It was adorable!

"Ice" skating

The museum has an "ice" rink set up for the kids to play on. It's just plastic, but it's super slippery and fun.

Sick kid

So my little man has been sick for about two weeks. It's been rough. He still has lots of energy, but we can't go anywhere to get rid of it, because we don't want to get other kids sick. Plus, it's cold out! So we've hung out at the house a lot, and started watching some Disney movies. Charlie loves my favorite, The Jungle Book. He also likes Finding Nemo, the Little Mermaid and the Lion King. Here's some cute pictures of him on the couch.

Chasing birds on piers

In Los Angeles, one of our favorite things to do is go to the beach to watch the sunrise (because of the crazy time change we are wide awake). Charlie loves to run around on a pier and chase the birds. Here he is on two different piers, chasing the birds, to the delight of all around him!

Christmas!

Sorry I've been behind on posts. It's been a long few days. We spent Christmas up in New Jersey with Petes family. It was super fun! My favorite part was Charlie getting to hang out with his little cousin Sabas. That kid is the coolest. He's not even 9 months old, and he already weighs more than Charlie. Here's an amazing picture of them together, in their matching christmas outfits! They wear the same size.:)

Charlie's Kitchen!

We're going up to NJ for Christmas to see my mom, so Charlie got his Christmas present from me and Bre a few days early!

Here he is loving his new... KITCHEN!  It's super fancy, and lots of people got Charlie food and fruit and veggies to go with it for his Birthday/Christmas.

Here's a video of Charlie playing with his new kitchen - he makes a heck of a potato chip!

Charlie's Birthday Adventure

We've been promising Charlie a ride on the train at the museum for his birthday all week.  So, when Bre and Charlie went to the museum this morning and the train was out of order, there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth!  So Bre did what any good mom would do and googled "where can my husband take my kid on a train".  When I got home from work, my mission was clear - get Charlie to the train at the mall in Cary!

Charlie in the train!  They gave him a sucker too!  He was more excited than he looks.

This mall has a whole store devoted to cookies and cupcakes.  YES PLEASE!

They have a carousel!  Charlie was super excited (not pictured).

They have those little coin-operated cars you can ride.  Charlie doesn't want to turn them on.  He just likes to hang out in them and pretend to drive.

After a long day, there's nothing better than relaxing after dinner with a snack of pepperoni and pears, watching some Dora with Dada.  Happy birthday little buddy!

Playgroup

Charlie has a playgroup we hang out with once a week. We had some of the kids over the other day, to play in the corn pool.

Mall playtime

Charlie loves the playground at the mall. It's warm and dry, and he gets to climb on everything.

My current favorite picture

I don't remember if I posted this picture before, but it's one of my favorites - Charlie and Wiki just chillin one morning from a few weeks ago when Bre was out of town.

It's my screen saver on all my computers because it makes me smile :)

Towers!

Charlie loves to build towers. He especially likes to build towers of half and half at Elmo's, his favorite restaurant.

Hats?

A few weeks ago I took Charlie to the Notasium (when we got the JUMP video).  But Charlie also got really into hats on that trip.  First I snuck this picture of me and Charlie in the mirror.

Then Charlie disappeared for a minute, and came back wearing this awesome pink hat.

You can see he's pointing at me.... because... I need to wear a hat, too, obviously.  So I asked Charlie to go get me a hat.  Here's what happened
