We are spending a few days at a cabin at Lake Tahoe, with Grammy Susie and Gramps Rick. Charlie is having a great time, and is adjusting well to West Coast time. He sure does love his grandparents!

Charlie's first plane ride as a big boy! He had his own seat- he even wore a seat belt! But he also spent a lot of time asleep in Mommy's arms, and lots of time staring out the window and playing with his toys. He did great- almost no crying. Everyone was very impressed and said he was the handsomest baby!
Here he is in his seat, buckled in!
Pretty backlit photos!
Looking out the window.
Happiest baby!
We had a picnic in the Duke Gardens with our friends!
We all know Charlie loves his tunnel. But there is another half to this toy- the tunnel house! We pulled that out a couple of days ago, and Charlie loves it! His daddy looks at him through the different windows, and Charlie never knows where he will pop up! He giggles like crazy. We call these "daddy giggles". Daddy giggles are almost impossible to cause unless you are daddy. When mommy comes up with a really great game, she might get a few. But this is very rare. You can hear lots of daddy giggles in this video!
And here he is sitting inside the tunnel. Even when it is all wrapped up, he likes it!
We were supposed to fly to Cali today to see everyone, but our flight was cancelled. Here are Charlie and Petie at the airport looking super sad.
Not really. Anyway, after hanging out at the airport for a couple of hours to get ourselves rebooked for tomorrow (Saturday), we decided to try to have a super fun day even though we were sad. So we headed to a big fun park, complete with a train ride and a carousel. We had a great afternoon. Lots of pictures and a few videos!
Look ma, no hands!
Carousel- this was not the highlight of Charlie's day!
Walking with daddy!
Charlie is finally getting tall enough to play with some of his bigger toys. Right now, he loves his rocking horse that his great-uncle Tom made for him. And his uncle Dean got him this awesome lion rocker, which is still way too big for him. But he knows how to have fun with it anyway.

Well, summer is officially over. In the Torrione household, that means the end of pool season. No more adorable pictures of an adorably scantily clad baby playing in water. Now we are into the season of cute baby hats and sweaters.
Good bye summer (notice the water rushing out of the pool)
Goodbye summer pool friends!
Our friend Amber (Gray's mom) took this video of Charlie pushing his stroller. You can see Gray in the video too- he's the one being helped to walk across the field. Look for a cameo from Ms. Mabel too!
Charlie and I had to kill some time at the mall the other day (Pete's phone was being fixed). Luckly, they have an awesome indoor playground at the mall. Look how cute he is!
