When the kids were in California, so were Linnea & Jeff!

Linnea was missing her kids, and Maggie was happy to give her some snuggles.  Even falling asleep on her!  Aw!

Shooting Legos

This is an interactive lego game where you wave your hands to shoot balls at the bad guys!  Look how intense they are!  One time Charlie was a little too scared to play the game (it's loud and a little scary).  But when we got to the last bad-guy (a dragon), Charlie came alive and started firing balls.  When we asked why he started playing he said "I thought you guys might need help"!  Love.

Picking Oranges

Before they go up to Sacramento to see Nana & Gaga, Maggie and Charlie picked some oranges from Poppy & Cookie's orange tree!

Maggie & Poppy

Maggie invited Poppy to come and eat some Ice-Cream with her. 

Poppy hasn't been eating at all, but he ate when Maggie asked him too.  He just loves her and he loves having the kids around the house, even though he's tired more than he used to be.

Yes.  Under!  The kids went to lego-land one more time before leaving San Diego to go back to Poppy & Cookie's house.

In San Diego you can do a lot of things... LegoLand... the Zoo... Hang with Uncle Dean... but at the start and end of every day - it's the beach!

Charlie, Maggie, Mama, and Uncle Dean went to the San Diego Zoo together - look how much fun!

Bread & Cie

This is Bre's favorite restaurant in San Diego.  They have good... bread.  I guess that wasn't good enough for the kids, because they ALSO have good Cookies!

Winter Beach!

I love North Carolina, but photos of the winter beach in San Diego make me a bit wistful!  Or maybe I just miss my family :)

There's a cool room at Marbles where the kids all collect green balls and send them into a giant pig who drops them on the kids every 5 minutes.  Actually that sounds really weird when I say it out loud.  In any case, here's Maggie taking part!
