Maggie's Half Birthday

They do parties for the kids who have summer birthdays on their half birthdays!  So... it was Maggie's half-birthday last week!

Mommy Visits Charlie at School!

Every once in a while they do a family cooking day at pre-school.  One of the kids' parents comes in and helps them cook lunch!  Supposedly this is a big hit with the kids.  Look how much cheese!

We had Avery over a few weeks ago for Charlie's birthday.  First they played, then... cake!





TV time after dinner was time for faces of wonder as they... watched Daniel Tiger... again... for the 1000th time.

If mommy & daddy get to go to the gym on Sunday or Saturday, the kids sometimes get a little dinner out... and that includes... ice cream!

These two haven't seen each other in a long, loooong time.  But man do they get along great!

I'm not even joking.  He hit the 100 point bucket right after I told him it was impossible to do so.

I bet you didn't know that Wolverine was an expert baker!  Well.. she is!  Maggie loves helping mommy make cookies!  (These came out very good.)

Charlie likes to do his grumpy face... a lot... at restaurants.  I don't know why.

This was on Charlie's special morning with Mommy and Daddy when we all went to see one of Charlie's possible Kindergarten's!  (He had less grumpy faces then!)

Maggie When She Gets Scared

Whenever Maggie gets scared or wants to hide, she just tucks herself under a blanket!

Charlie conquered this climbing contraption a long time ago, but he's always happy to strut his stuff.

And now Maggie is excited to get in on that action!

Charlie doesn't look too excited in this picture, but he was pretty happy to ride with Maggie (she is too little to ride alone!).

And Maggie was psyched!  Even though they picked the one boat without a bell... that was probably for the best.

Charlie loves chess.  He actually knows how to move all the pieces and will take pieces and protect pieces sometimes! Sometimes he even wins!  (If daddy isn't paying attention!)

Christmas Morning

These two...  They slept like angles and even sat here for a full 5 seconds before charging in to see the Christmas tree!

Christmas Eve!

I forgot to tell you about Christmas eve!

We have a tradition in Pete's family to get Chinese food on Christmas eve  (This is a real thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_cuisine_in_Jewish_culture_in_the_United_States)


Unfortunately too many gentiles have hopped on that bandwagon, so it took us 3 HOURS to get our Chinese food.  In the meantime, the kids needed sustenance so... CORN DOGS!



We also do a book gift exchange on Christmas eve AND Nana T gets us all new PJ's!
