On Mommy's lap, upside down, with the books over my head!
I can climb anything. This is my lion walker. When I'm done walking with it, I like to climb up his face!
Check out this awesome nerd shirt Charlie has. He wants to be a nerd just like his daddy!
It case you didn't notice Charlie's sweet outfit in the last post-
Uncle Kyle brought Charlie an awesome soccer outfit home from Honduras. It's far too big, but he looks super cute in it. Check out the shoes too! They are also way too big, but adorable.
And uncle Kyle got mustachioed booties for him too! These ones actually fit!
Well, let me tell you. Charlie has become very good at climbing things. I think he's going to be a mountain climber. He scales the walls sometimes. Anyway, he was playing this game where he climbed up the inside wall of his house to get the toys on the other side. The first time he did it, I jumped up and stopped him. Of course, he did it anyway 20 seconds later. Then he did it again. By the third time, I stopped freaking out and took pictures of it. So here you go. I'm mother of the year!
Step 1: Just playing around.
Step 2: I want those toys over there!
Step 4: Uh oh!
Step 5: Hmmmm
I forgot to tell the blog- Charlie's first tooth popped up about a week ago. It's still coming out, but when it does, I will try to get a picture. He hates it when I try to look at it!
Anyway, here are some 8 month pictures. I did the best I could. Can you hear the exhaustion in my voice? He. Never. Stops. Moving.
This one is the best, but its still blurry!
Take 2. We tried again when Pete got home.

Charlie is 8 months today! I took some 8 month pictures, but I need to go through them. I'm not sure there is anything unblurry in the whole set! This baby never stops moving! Anyway, I stopped by the doctors office this morning to weigh Charlie. He weighed 15lb, 8 ozs. That puts him in the 4.5% for weight. It's certainly better than 2%. I didn't get a chance to check his height, but I know he's getting taller because he can reach lots of stuff he couldn't before. Here's Charlie looking unimpressed on the scale.
Recently, every Sunday morning Charlie and I go to the Duke Gardens to go for a walk and playtime. He loves playing on the big grass lawns. The grass was wet today, so he got all dirty and gross, but I think that made it even make fun for him!
